A Message From Zury And Joe, The New Owners of Common Ground Farm 💚
Hello everyone! As many of you know, in May 2025, Pat and John Joslin made the heartfelt decision to sell Common Ground Farm to Zury Martinez and Joe Wendt of Parkland, Florida. This transition marks a new chapter for the farm, we both pledge to uphold the Joslin's legacy and sense of community. We are deeply committed to maintaining the diverse heirloom variety vegetables and rigorous standards that Pat and John worked tirelessly to establish. For the Joslin's, passing the torch to us is a humbling experience, as their successors stepping into the significant roles Pat and John have held within the community.
We promise to bring a visionary business plan to Common Ground Farm, focusing not only on the production of organically grown vegetables, dairy, eggs and meats, but also handcrafted medicinal essential oils among other things. We are rooted with a strong conviction about the need for healthy, natural alternatives, we aim to reintroduce time-honored organic products that have been used for millennia. We both are eager to serve and become integral members of this special community that Pat and John have nurtured, ensuring that Common Ground Farm remains a vital resource and gathering place for East-Central Florida.
We hope to meet all of you soon!
Warm regards,
Zury Martinez and Joe Wendt
